Chapman Healthcare Pharmacy has been part of this community for more than 60 years. It started with George Chapman, RPh, who came to Vidalia in 1960 as a partner in a local pharmacy — and it grew from there. George retired in 1988 and started a small “mom-and-pop” DME business to keep serving patients. His son, Wes Chapman, RPh, joined in 1994, added IV infusion and compounding services, and brought retail back into the mix in 2000. In 2003, Sweet Onion Pharmacy joined the family. George Sr. passed away in 2013, and Wes carried the business forward — the same way we carry forward what our own founder, Lindsay Walker, started in Statesboro in 1984.
Now Chapman Healthcare Pharmacy is part of the Walker Pharmacy family. Same building, same trusted faces behind the counter, same DME team that already knows your equipment — now backed by the resources of five Walker locations across Southeast Georgia, with Vidalia joining in 2026.
